Saqr Ereiqat

Saqr Mashhor Ereiqat is a leading expert in blockchain, AI, and emerging technologies with over 20 years of experience driving innovation across government and enterprise sectors. As the Secretary General of the Dubai Digital Asset Association (D2A2) and Co-Founder of Crypto Oasis Ventures, Saqr plays a key role in shaping the digital asset ecosystem in the Middle East.

He previously spent 13 years at IBM, where he led public sector blockchain projects in 23 countries, developed IBM’s first government blockchain methodology, and contributed to Dubai’s official blockchain strategy. Saqr has also advised major organizations such as DHL, Shell, the UAE Prime Minister’s Office, and the Saudi Ministry of Health.

Beyond corporate leadership, he is a committed mentor and advisor, supporting startups through initiatives like the DIFC Fintech Hive, Arab Youth Center, and the Founder Institute.
